17 Sri Lankans expected to leave Gaza through the Rafah crossing into Egypt today

A total of 17 Sri Lankans who are in the Gaza strip at present are expected use the Rafah crossing today to enter into Egypt.

Around 596 foreign and dual nationals from 15 countries will leave Gaza through the Rafah crossing into Egypt today as the border will open for the second time this morning.

The Gaza Borders and Crossings Authority has released a list, that includes 400 American citizens.

The Ministry said the people on the list would need to arrive at the crossing at 7am.

The list of foreign and dual nationals includes 17 from Sri Lanka, 400 from the United States, 50 from Belgium, 24 from Greece, 20 from the Netherlands and 11 from Switzerland.

The Rafah crossing was opened for the first time yesterday since Hamas launched an attack in Israel on the 7th of October.
