24 new places became UNESCO Heritage Sites

The Time out Magazine says UNESCO is Named an 24 new destinations from all over the world have just been inscribed. 

which it defines as ‘a designation for places on Earth that are of outstanding universal value to humanity’. 

The protection of our marvellous planet is becoming ever more urgent, which is why the organisation adds historic buildings, culturally significant landmarks and important natural areas to its list of protected sites every year.
