The mansion, which has sprawling views over Middle Harbour, is set to break the ceiling price of any home sold in Castlecrag, on the city’s well-heeled lower north shore.
The previous record for the suburb was $23.5 million paid for a waterfront home in 2022, the AFR reported.
The four-storey home boasts five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, and has features such as saunas, a heated pool, chef’s kitchen and manicured gardens.
Tu said the home had plenty of wow factor for potential buyers.
“This house was built over three years, the owner himself built it to live in with no expense spared,” Tu said.
