Teenagers hit out at proposed social media ban in Australia

Teenagers have hit out at the proposed social media ban for people aged 16 and under.

Opposition leader Peter Dutton has vowed to lift the minimum age of access to social media to 16 if elected.

Teenagers are arguing that social media is actually key to their healthy development and wellbeing, a place where they can socialise with friends, express themselves and access support.
