Amazon has launched free same-day delivery for Sydney members of Prime for more than one million items the online megastore has for sale.
The offer applies to orders over $49 and covers “over 90 per cent” of Sydney’s population, the company said it was a release.
Customers have to place an order before midday for it to arrive before 10pm that night.
To find items eligible for the super-fast delivery, customers can look for those marked with “Today by 10pm” or the “Prime Same-Day” badges on product detail pages.
“We are really proud of the range of products that are eligible for same-day delivery, meaning that you can get everything from a torch for your family camping trip to a water bottle for kids’ footy practice,” Amazon Australia country manager Janet Menzies said.
The company said it aims to expand product selection and delivery areas eligible for same-day and one-day delivery.
