Cabinet Media Spokesman Minister Vijitha Herath says that new passports will be issued from next Monday.
He stated this while attending the press conference announcing the Cabinet decisions today (15).
The minister said that it is expected that the passport issue will be resolved in a short period of time.
He mentioned that since Sri Lanka will receive a stock of passports by next Saturday, the new passport will be issued from Monday.
