‘Oil is actually falling’: Australia’s petrol prices beginning to drop

Australia’s petrol prices are starting to drop, according to independent analyst Evan Lucas.

“Let’s look at petrol, that’s the one to really look at here because, at the moment, oil is actually falling,” Mr Lucas told Sky News Australia.

“Last night it fell another five per cent, it’s back below $80 USD a barrel.

“So, in Aussie dollar terms, at the bowser over the next three weeks, it’s dropped back to about $1.80, maybe even as low as a $1.75.”

Mr Lucas revealed that Australians are starting to “accept higher prices” but has warned the nation not to do so.
