NSW paramedics threaten to boycott over pay dispute with state government

There are fears triple zero jobs could be left unanswered on one of the busiest nights of the year as New South Wales paramedics escalate a pay dispute.

More than 2,000 paramedics are refusing to re-register, as pay negotiations between Unions and the state government stall.

Industrial Action planned for New Years Eve has been met by fierce criticism by the Minns Government, who have admitted there’s not enough money to fund their demands.

The HSU is seeking a 20 per cent pay increase, as well as an additional 4 per cent over the next two years.

Discussions on pay are set to resume next week.
