Education Minister Jason Clare says the cost of living is the “biggest issue” in the country right now and is what all Australians are focused on.
Mr Clare said tackling the cost of living crisis will be a “big part” of the budget after Labor’s win in the Dunkley by-election.
“The big issue for all Aussies, whether they are in Dunkley or right around the country, is the cost of living,” Mr Clare told Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell.
“The tax cuts will help with that, inflation going down will help with that, wages going up will help with that.
“We’re very conscious that that’s the big issue that Aussies face right now.”
