They say rain is good luck on your wedding day.
For Breanna Cooke, a torrential downpour hopefully means great luck.
Cooke protected her wedding dress with a sheet as she arrived at St Mary’s Cathedral in Sydney for her wedding on April 5.
The bride also wore thongs into the church before presumably popping on her wedding shoes inside.
One of Cooke’s bridesmaids similarly left the shoes to switch up later as she arrived at St Mary’s Cathedral during the rain.
The Parramatta River began to flood on April 5 after the deluge across Sydney.
