Industry Minister Ed Husic says there will be discussions on “how to progress” AUKUS as well as energy talks between US President Joe Biden and Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
Mr Husic’s comments come after the Prime Minister announced a trip to Washington.
The Industry Minister said there is a commitment by the United Kingdom, United States and Australian governments to proceed.
“Clearly, there will be discussion on how to progress that along with other matters that are relevant to the relations,” Mr Husic told Sky News Australia.
“Not the least of which being the energy transition and how we can work together on that.”
