In a tragic turn of events, a 16-year-old girl, Sarathsarani Kavishka, has tragically passed away due to injuries sustained in the Fox Hill Super Cross accident in April.
The incident, which occurred on April 21, 2024, during the 28th edition of the event in Diyathalawa, has left a somber mark on the racing community.
Sarathsarani was receiving treatment at Ward No. 25 of Badulla General Hospital since the accident. Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, she succumbed to her injuries at approximately 20:30 hours on May 15.
