MP Mahinda Rajapaksa Leader of Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) says the party has fielded MP Namal Rajapaksa as its Presidential candidate, heeding the request of ‘Aragalaya’ activists who wanted a young person to lead the nation.
MP Mahinda Rajapaksa Speaking to reporters, the youth of the nation needs a young leader to guide and assist them, and MP Namal Rajapaksa was such a young leader. (38 years old)
Mahinda Rajapaksa said he has confident MP Namal Rajapaksa will receive the support of the youth and will emerge victorious in the upcoming Presidential Election.
