Australian teachers vaping and smoking in school toilets

A major government investigation is underway after a group of school teachers were photographed posing in a school toilet block vaping and smoking.

The image was taken as part of a calendar which whistleblowers claim was then displayed on some desks in a staff room of Queensland’s Balmoral State High School last year.

The calendar also included images of teachers in lewd poses, with one dressed as a nun.

Whistleblowers released the images, claiming no action was taken when the images were reported to the school’s administration.

“We believe the calendar is in poor taste, it’s not a bucks party,” a whistleblower told A Current Affair.

“We were completely stunned at this picture because it’s the epitome of misconduct.

They should not be doing anything like that and displaying it.”

The Queensland Government has invested heavily in anti-vaping programs and by law school property is a smoke-free zone, which can incur an on the spot fine of more than $300 up to a maximum of $3000 in court.

Whistleblowers released the images, claiming no action was taken when the images were reported to the school’s administration.
