An old Woolworths catalogue has surprised shoppers who compared the prices of the supermarket items to what they cost today it was amazing.
If you believed The advertisement to be printed in 1973, was shared to the Old Shops Australia Facebook group.
The brochure shows that at the time a tub of yoghurt was priced at 16 cents and specially a 2l bottle of orange juice was 79 cents and a jar of coffee was 30 cents.
However it was one item that caught the eyes of several people, who noted the staple’s lack of presence on the shelves today.
