According to the Bureau of Population and Statistics, Australia’s population has reached nearly 30 million.
In March 2024, Australia’s population exceeded 27 million, an increase of 615,300 compared to last year.
This year, approximately 509,800 new arrivals have arrived and 289,700 new births and 184,200 deaths have been reported in the Bureau’s latest report.
Accordingly, Western Australia has been named as the fastest growing state in Australia and its population has increased by 3.1 percent.
The population growth in the state of Victoria is recorded at 2.7 percent and the second highest population growth is in the state of Victoria.
Population growth in the state of Queensland has been recorded as 2.5 percent.
Accordingly, the report further states that Australia’s population will grow by 1 million in two years.
