The appreciation ceremony was organized with the participation of an honorable group of MP Evan Mulholland, Opposition Deputy Leader of the Legislative Assembly, John Pesutto, MP Richard Welch.
According to this, veteran musicians Rukantha Gunathilake and Chandralekha Perera, who are considered to be music legends in Sri Lanka, were given two special awards for their outstanding contribution to the Sri Lankan music industry.
Also, their daughters Raini Charuka Gunathilake and Windy Gunathilake also received awards there.
Sanuka Wickramasinghe was also invited for this event, but he is unable to participate in that moment.
