In response to demand from its Victorian diners, Grill’d will open the state’s first-ever drive-through restaurant this weekend – making it only the second of its kind in Australia.
The drive-thru site will open in Melbourne’s south-east on Saturday, with than 700 free burgers up for grabs to mark the milestone.
On August 3, the beloved burger giant will open its 172nd location in Melbourne’s Chadstone.
Mr Crowe said feedback from customers underpinned the decision to incorporate a drive-thru offering into some of its locations.
The new Chadstone drive-thru restaurant will officially open this Saturday, August 3.
It is part of a larger five-year growth strategy for the business, which will see Grill’d aim to open 30 new restaurants per year, with an ultimate goal of having 300 sites nationally by 2029.
Of the next 50 restaurants the brand opens, half will have drive-thru facilities.
