Former Sri Lanka Cricket captain Tillakaratne Dilshan introduced a new sport to the country today with the official launch of the Ceylon Cornhole Federation in Colombo.
“Cornhole is a sport that can be enjoyed by anyone of any age. It’s very popular in the United States and is a highly enjoyable sport,” he said.
Dilshan expressed his hopes to create more opportunities for Sri Lankan players through this sport.
“There will be a world Cornhole championship next year, and I hope to field a Sri Lankan team for the event,” he added. (Newswire)
