CID Questions Courier Company in Piumi’s Case

The Criminal Investigation Department’s (CID) Illegal Assets Investigation Division is making headway in its probe into the cosmetics company belonging to model and businesswoman Piumi Hansamali.

Police Spokesperson DIG Nihal Thalduwa said that officers have obtained statements from four officials of the courier service company involved in the incident. This includes the company’s chief.

DIG Thalduwa said the four individuals were asked to return on Friday (28) to provide additional statements.

DIG Thalduwa added that he will be recording a statement from Piumi Hansamali on Saturday (29).
