DFAT advises travellers to avoid West Bank due to volatiles security situation

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade has updated travel advice for Israel and the occupied territories.

Travelers are being advised to avoid the West Bank due to the volatile security situation.

Australians in the West Bank are advised to register with DFAT, who is offering information and support on leaving the country.

Anyone travelling to these regions is being encouraged to reconsider their need to travel.

They’re also being warned not to travel to Gaza, border areas with Gaza, and border areas with Lebanon.
