Meteorological departments have predicted that there will be very hot conditions in northern Australia in the coming weekend.
Even though it is still spring, it is reported that some parts of the country are already starting the summer season and there is intense heat.
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, regions like New South Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland, Western Australia will be very hot.
The Western Australia Department of Health has issued a series of instructions on how to stay safe during this heat wave.
Advises not to be outdoors during the day and advises to plan outdoor activities for morning or evening.
It is also advised to drink fluids such as water and low sugar drinks and to limit or avoid tea, coffee and energy drinks as well as alcohol and caffeinated drinks.
It is advised to wear loose, light and light-colored clothes and to bathe frequently or soak the feet in a bowl of cool water.
