Switzerland topped the list of countries globally, ranking in as the top earning country.

The average take-home pay sits at $6632 per month.

High incomes for citizens are thanks to the country’s strong financial sector, advanced technology industry and skilled workforce.

Luxembourg

The small European country of Luxembourg ranks number 2 for highest average salary globally.

Due to favourable tax policies and the country’s rich economy, workers pocket about $5302 per month.

Singapore

Singapore closely follows at number 3, with the average monthly pay sitting around $4764.

The country’s strategic location, infrastructure, and business-focused environment brings in high incomes for citizens, according to FounderPass founder Max Bramwell.

Australia

Australia is ranked at number 8 for the world’s highest salaries.

Falling behind Qatar and Denmark, Australians earn on average $3504 a month.

Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka ranked number 92 on the list with persisting poverty and unemployment, impacting wages.

Workers earn about $191 per month with those living in the regions taking home less due to limited employment opportunities.
