Analysts say that the American Airlines flight, which will travel from Dallas Fort Worth to Brisbane in the United States, marking the world’s longest flight, will be among the flights that have attracted the most attention in the world.
Marking the world’s longest flight, the historic journey of this AA7 plane starts from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport in Texas and it is said to be the longest flight of the American airline network.
It is also the longest non-stop flight to and from Brisbane Airport.
Millions of people are said to be watching the historic flight from Texas to Brisbane.
The flight is scheduled to reach Brisbane at around 6.30am on Monday morning and the time taken for that is about 15 hours.
Brisbane Airport media and corporate communications manager Peter Doherty said the flight would be tracked on FlightRadar24, the popular app for aviation enthusiasts around the world.
There are also plans to broadcast live the landing of the Boeing 787 using a camera on the Brisbane Airport runway.
The only American airline currently flying between Brisbane and the USA is United Airlines to San Francisco and Los Angeles.
