Due to the visit of King Charles III to Australia, the police have started a special security operation.
It is reported that the royal couple will arrive in Sydney around 7 pm today.
As a result, the New South Wales Police have launched an operation called Operation Royal Visit, which is said to be carried out after months of planning.
New South Wales Police is working with other agencies, including the UK Royal and Specialist protection team, to protect the Royal Family.
These security officers will be deployed to manage the visits of the King and Queen as well as the security of visiting dignitaries and the community.
The 75-year-old King Charles, is making his first foreign trip after being diagnosed with cancer in February.
It also said that the King’s visit to Australia was planned on medical advice to allow him to rest and adjust to the climate after a long flight.
Meanwhile, it is planned to give the public the opportunity to see the royal couple in Sydney and Canberra on several occasions.
The public has also been informed that traffic restrictions and road closures may occur throughout the visit of the royal couple.
