Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has reflected on the Voice referendum outcome saying it was not the result he had hoped for.
“But I respect the decision and the democratic process that produced it,” Mr Albanese said during Question Time on Monday.
The prime minister faced a grilling during Question Time by the Opposition over the Voice result.
“We can make in this country, the big decisions peacefully,” Mr Albanese said.
“And as equals.
“And I certainly accept responsibility for the decisions that I have taken.”
