Laptop mainstay ASUS reveals new AI range

Just weeks after Microsoft revealed an all-new class of computer called “Copilot+ PCs”, we’re already seeing a huge range of new devices being announced to not only suit this new AI generation, but also take aim directly at Apple’s MacBook laptop range.

In Taiwan this week at the annual Computex trade show where computer parts, chips and PCs too are revealed, ASUS has released a wide range of new computers which have AI at their core.

From everyday laptops to gaming laptops, creative laptops and powerful thin, high-performance laptops, ASUS revealed no less than seven new machines under the banner of “Ubiquitous AI“.

The entire technology world is focused on artificial intelligence it seems, with ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini and Meta AI at the front edge of consumer use AI.

And the brands who make the computers we use are focused on adding more than just a touch of AI to the devices we interact with.

Adding AI to a physical device allows actions to be processed on the device, without the need to use the cloud – which is an added layer of privacy for users hoping not to share their every request with the world.

ASUS co-CEO Samson Hu was keen to ensure his company’s role at the forefront of the AI revolution when speaking at their launch in Taiwan.

“To ensure our success, we’ve created our comprehensive Ubiquitous AI. Incredible Possibilities. AI strategy, which is designed to weave AI into every aspect of our business, while also maintaining our commitment to sustainability,” he said.

“ASUS is helping lead the way to make AI accessible everywhere for everyone and make sure that everybody can benefit from the possibilities guaranteed by AI.”
