Sri Lanka Police determines that even an adult male has the right to take legal action if he is sexually harassed by a female against his will.
The law is applied without gender discrimination for such offenses According to Section 345 of the Penal Code Amendment Act No. 22 of 1995,
Incidents reported reveal instances where young boys have been sexually harassed by older women, and such cases have been reported to Police stations, The Police Media Division said.
