Former Minister of State Lohan Ratwatte has been transferred from prison hospital to Colombo National Hospital due to illness.
Prison Media Spokesperson Prison Commissioner Gamini B. Dissanayake mentioned that the former minister was transferred to the National Hospital due to a sudden illness.
It was recently decided to provide special security to former Minister of State Lohan Ratwatte as he is the former Minister of State in charge of prisons as per court orders.
The former minister was arrested in connection with an incident of using an illegally assembled luxury car.
After the suspect was produced before the Additional Magistrate, Gangodawila, he was remanded until the 7th.
