new proposals to change Sydney nightlife

Proposals have been made to introduce new laws regarding nightlife in Sydney city and surrounding areas.

It is reported that these proposed changes are to be brought to Parliament due to the lack of proper regulation regarding nightlife in Sydney.

Premier Chris Minns said the reforms would also address noise complaints from live music and, if passed, could transform Sydney’s nightlife.

People going to pubs and restaurants will be allowed to consume alcohol from outside and it will be possible to host live music at any licensed venue.

The state authorities said that restrictions should not be imposed at a time when people have the opportunity to gather together with the freedom from work on weekends.

The reforms would also put protections in place to stop noise complaints from shutting down the city’s nightlife.

Property buyers would be notified that they are buying in an existing entertainment zone.
