The Railway Department says that the train service from Colombo Fort to Kankasanturaya will resume from today (28).
The department stated that due to the completion of the modernization work on the railway line between Mahawa and Anuradhapura, it has been decided to start running on the Northern Railway line.
Also, the department has also informed that the public using the railway crossings should be very careful as the trains will be running on the Northern Railway from today (28).
With trains now running on the Northern Railway, it is essential for everyone to prioritize safety and adhere to all crossing regulations, as per the department.
