The results of all the districts of the Parliamentary General Election 2024 have been released so far.
Accordingly, the National People’s Power has taken power in all 20 districts.
It is special that the National People’s Power has managed to win 141 seats, exceeding the 113 seats required to win a majority in the Parliament.
According to the voting results of the general election, the National People’s Liberation Army has secured 6,863,186 votes, which is 61.56 percent.
According to the election results, the Samagi Jana Balawegaya is in the second place by getting 35 seats.
That party has obtained 1,968,716 votes, which is 17.66 percent as a percentage.
The New Democratic Front, which claims 3 seats, has secured 500,835 votes, which is 4.49 percent.
Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna has secured 350,429 votes and its percentage is 3.14 percent.
This time they got only 2 seats.
Having won 6 seats, the Ilankei Tamil Arasu Party managed to get 257,813 votes, which is 2.31 percent.
Apart from that, the All Ceylon Tamil Congress, EPDP, United National Party, Sri Lanka Labor Party, Democratic Tamil National Alliance and 17 independent groups have one seat each.
