Infrastructure Minister Catherine King has announced the federal government will be cancelling funding for 50 programs after its review.
Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says the move has “produced an angry reaction from the states”.
“Including New South Wales and Queensland in particular.
“They say they’re not cutting a dollar – it’s just that the cost blowouts mean some projects have had to been cut.”
Reportedly, more money will be allocated for local roads, despite the other cuts.
