Organisers expecting historic crowd levels for Australian Open

Organisers are expecting historic crowd levels at Melbourne Park for the Australian Open.

This comes as record numbers since the opening week peaked at almost 90,000 through the gates.

Both of last year’s Singles champions are in action tonight – Novak Djokovic and Aryna Sabalenka.

The nation is gearing up to get behind four Australians as the campaigns begin.

“There’s every reason to believe that we’ll get over one million people coming here to the great Australian Open,” said Australian Politician and Lawyer Ben Carroll.
