More than a dozen vocational education and training providers have been shut down as the government attempts to reign in dodgy operators.
The Albanese government has also handed out more than 70 compliance sanctions against VET operators since coming to power.
The Australian Skill Quality Authority has further cancelled the registration of 26 education providers in the last six months.
This is an increase of 50 per cent from 2022.
This follows Labor’s promise in October to strengthen operation requirements for educators.
