A suspect has been arrested for secretly recording a mobile phone in a public bathroom on the Gold Coast.
It is said that this cell phone recording was found by a woman who was using the bathroom of a restaurant on Cronin Avenue on Monday around 11 am.
Later she goes out of the place and the phone is removed and the person who left it has fled with the incident.
The woman was able to film the suspect getting out of her car and the police found the suspect from the footage and seized his phone.
It is said that the 31-year-old suspect has been accused of secretly recording the toilet and breach of privacy.
The suspect is scheduled to appear before the Southport Magistrate’s Court on November 4.
