The new Queensland Premier Steven Miles says his team are using the weekend to get to work and to discuss changes that need to be made to the ministry.
“Today the Deputy Premier and I, and our entire team will get to work,” the Premier told a press conference on Saturday.
“We are five new fresh faces and that will mean we need to make some changes to the ministry.
“They’re the kinds of decisions we will be making today, tomorrow, and in time for Monday.”
The former Deputy Premier was sworn in as Premier of Queensland on Friday.
Cameron Dick who currently serves as Treasurer will be sworn in as Deputy Premier on Monday.
