A record number of showbags are on offer at the Melbourne Royal Show this year, but some fan favourites are more expensive than usual.
Almost 400 showbags will be available, with the cheapest being the Ripper Showbag and Little Wizz Fizz showbag, which are priced at $4.
The price for show favourite Bertie Beetle has risen up to $5 this year from the previous price of $3.
Among the most popular showbags today were Bluey, Barbie, Wednesday, and the Matilda’s bag set, all ranging in price from $30-$35.
Showbags.com.au Head of Product Development & Marketing Rebel Ruby said there was a showbag for everyone this year.
“We are really looking at value for money how much we can pack in there. We are also really looking at items you can reuse,” she said.
The Melbourne Royal Show will run from September 21 to October 1.
