Gemma Tognini says regional Australian families are demanding financial aid for their children’s education.
“Families in the bush are calling on the government to increase funding to help cover the cost of education for kids living in extremely remote areas,” Ms Tognini said.
“Recent data shows that the majority of parents are out of pocket more than $20,000 each, per child.
“The gap between funding and cost continues to widen.”
