Venom keepers at the Australian Reptile Park are celebrating their one millionth snake milking.
The process involves extracting venom from the reptiles to produce anti-venom for snake bites.
The anti-venom is then distributed throughout Australia’s healthcare system.
Last year the park broke a record for the most venomous terrestrial snakes milked in one day.
The lifesaving program has been running since the 1950s.
