According to the data of the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority, Australian tourists have the 7th place among foreign tourists visiting Sri Lanka.
During the year, 74,973 Australian tourists have visited Sri Lanka.
Accordingly, in the year 2024, the majority of Indian tourists have come to Sri Lanka and the number is 357,279.

Accordingly, according to the data of the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority updated up to November 26, a total of 1,776,889 tourists have come to visit Sri Lanka so far.
The reports further indicate that 6,446 Australian tourists have visited Sri Lanka in the first 26 days of this month.
Accordingly, in the year 2024, the majority of Indian tourists have come to Sri Lanka and the number is stated as 357,279.
