A size 4XL Aussie truck driver who tipped the scales at 168kg has managed to shed 70kg in less than a year after transforming his lifestyle.
Paul Nugent’s days consisted of long-haul drives, reaching for pies and doughnuts along the road or sitting in front of the TV, eating fast food and drinking Coke.
The dad-of-four had been struggling with his weight for 25 years due to his sedentary lifestyle and high consumption of takeaway meals and processed foods
“I was on medications, including insulin for Type 2 Diabetes, high cholesterol meds, hypertension meds and osteoarthritis tablets.”
His go-to on-the-road foods were pies and doughnuts along with bottles of Coke and French fries.
