South Australian teachers threaten to strike

Public school workers in South Australia are warning of a second strike this year, as the union demands fairer working conditions and better pay.

The Australian Education Union will vote on Thursday on whether or not to take action.

The Union has given the government until November 6 to “make an acceptable offer”.

Thousands of teachers walked off the job on September 1, leading 167 schools to close.
