Sri Lanka and India Collaborate to Crack Down on ISIS

The exchange of information between Sri Lanka and India has commenced concerning the Sri Lankans arrested in India, allegedly associated with ISIS.

This collaborative effort involves both the Sri Lanka Army Intelligence Division and the Police Terrorist Investigations Division.

Security forces are uncovering details about individuals within Sri Lanka who may have had connections with the arrested suspects.

Among their findings, suspicion centers on Osmand Gerrard as the individual who facilitated the movement of the suspected Sri Lankans from thecountry to India.

Sri Lanka Police have offered a cash reward of Rs. 2 Million for anyone providing information leading to the apprehension of the suspect.

On the 20th, four Sri Lankans, suspected to be ISIS terrorists, were apprehended at Ahmedabad Airport by the Anti-Terrorism Squad of Gujarat.
