The Cabinet approved in 2013 for an Air Service Agreement between Sri Lanka and Kazakhstan is finally nearing fruition.
The agreement aims to bolster air services between the two countries, allowing for up to 7 weekly flights from Sri Lanka to Astana or Almaty in Kazakhstan along specified routes.
Accordingly, the proposal to sign the agreed-upon Air Service Agreement was presented by the Minister of Ports, Shipping, and Aviation, Nimal Siripala.
