Easter travel is well underway as tens of thousands of people travel through airports across the country.
“There’s been a slow but steady stream of passengers here at Brisbane’s Domestic Terminal this morning,”
“We were expecting more than 48,000 passengers.
“The International Airport is also expecting more than 18,000 passengers.
“There have been a handful of cancellations for regional destinations, including Bundaberg and Tamworth.”
Airlines are advising travellers to check the status of their flights and to give themselves plenty of time to get to the airport, find parking and get checked in.
