Thailand company offers workers paid Tinder leave to go on dates

A Thailand company is offering an unconventional benefit to its employees: Tinder leave.

Marketing agency has raised eyebrows with a six-month benefit it recently unveiled to staff.

Marketing agency Whiteline Group announced it would be giving its workers paid time off to go on dates, paid out like annual or sick leave.

The initiative will allow employees of the agency to explore dating options and will be in place from July until December 2024, Whiteline announced on LinkedIn.

From July until the end of the year, employees could be paid to go on dates as part of an initiative to boost their wellbeing.

Footage showed female staff from the company sitting around a conference room as leadership revealed the initiative.

“Our employees can use Tinder leave for dating with someone,” Whiteline noted in a post shared in August.

It was put in place in a bid to boost wellbeing among employees.

Whiteline employs about 200 people at its Bangkok office, its website states.
