Australians have 12 hours left to claim a ticket for tonight’s $100 million Powerball draw.
It is the biggest Lotto jackpot in over three months and the sixth biggest jackpot draw in Australian history.
Lott spokeswoman Anna Hobdell said they expected ticket sales to be delayed.
“The last time Powerball offered a $100 million prize was in August at 6.17pm on the day of the draw, when 8681 tickets were sold in one minute,” she said.
“On that occasion, the entire $100 million prize was won by an Aspley (Brisbane) woman who found her winning ticket in the glove box of her car.”
Nextra Chermside manager Cara Hickey described selling the final $100 million Powerball ticket as an incredible experience and said her team is excited to see what unfolds tonight.
