A 20-year-old man has emerged as the owner of the second winning ticket to take home half of last night’s $100 million Lotto jackpot.
The winning numbers in last night's Powerball draw were 22, 10, 4, 31, 1, 26 and 9, with 14 Powerballs.
Two lucky winning entries had the whole set, each worth $50 million - one of the winning entries was previously identified as belonging to a couple from Rockhampton, Queensland.
The second winning entry belonged to a 20-year-old from Preston, who won $50 million with his first Powerball ticket.
The other winners, a Rockhampton couple, were in "disbelief" when they got the call to tell them the good news, expecting it to be a sales pitch when they answered the phone.
“I’m in disbelief,” Lott, the victorious grandmother, reportedly told officers who made the call.
