Powerball soars to Australian record $200m

Powerball has jackpotted to a record-breaking $200 million.

No player matched the necessary numbers in Thursday’s January 25 draw to secure the monster Division One windfall – with $150 million left on the table.

It was the sixth straight week the top prize has gone unclaimed.

It means the February 1 draw, number 1446, will be the biggest prize offered in Australia Lotto history.

“The largest jackpot we have seen to date was Powerball’s $160 million draw in October 2022,” Lotterywest acting chief executive Jeremy Hubble said.

If you haven’t checked your tickets it is certainly still worth it.

There were 26 Division Two winners in the January 25 draw, with each ticket taking home $110,000.
